Eagle Mountain, Utah
Geographically the third largest city in Utah, Eagle Mountain is one of the fastest growing cities in Utah County. Since its incorporation in 1996, Eagle Mountain has grown to over 25,000 residents. The city resides along the west side of Utah Lake, allowing for breathtaking views of the water, trees, and mountain ranges. The neighborhoods cater to both those who love the open feel of the country and those who love urban life with its expanding shopping centers.
The city offers a variety of activities for residents and visitors of Eagle Mountain, such as story time at the library, sport teams and games, lake activities, and more. During the summer, Eagle Mountain hosts their annual festival, Pony Express Days, filled with carnival rides, a charity 5K run, fireworks, a parade, local food, and other activities. Eagle Mountain also has four regional parks, over 35 neighborhood parks, and a park with a splash pad, which is great during the summer.
Like many other local cities, Eagle Mountain is part of the Alpine School District. The city has both charter and public schools, as well as a variety of preschools for the younger ones. Since the whole city is fairly new, all the schools are in excellent condition, and with the city expanding as much as it is, there will be new schools built to accommodate.
Whether you are looking for a local neighborhood feel or a sense of the country, Eagle Mountain is a great place for you and your family.
